President's Cup

The President's Cup is back for the 2022 Firefighter Stairclimb Challenge!

All IAFF Affiliate Leaders are eligible to compete for the Presidents Cup at this year’s Firefighter Stairclimb Challenge. The race will take place at Calgary’s Canada Olympic Park on June 5, 2022 after Challenge the Chief and before the main event. The victor will be declared at the end and presented with the prestigious President’s Cup!

Event Details

  • Minimum $250 fundraising goal with $50 donation required to register (tax receipt provided)
  • Firefighters must wear full duty gear and climb to the top and back down the West Tack Service Road at COP (approx. 390ft elevation gain and 1.4km long)
  • Registration deadline – May 27, 2022
  • If you are unable to climb you can sponsor someone at the Affiliate Leader level to climb on your behalf
  • The climb for the President’s Cup will be after Challenge the Chief
  • Hardware presentation will be at the end of the event with all competitors
