Tracy was a dear family friend who recently lost her battle with cancer. What I remember most fondly about her was her kind heart, passion for adventure, love of cycling, unwavering determination, and especially her smile.
In celebration of Tracy's indominable spirit and in honour of all others who have faced cancer's challenges, I am participating in the Cancervive Ride for Wellspring. This 1-day, 110 km bike ride through Banff National Park aims to raise funds for Wellspring Alberta, an extraordinary charitable organization that supports and empowers cancer survivors, their caregivers, and their families. They offer a comprehensive range of evidence-informed programs and resources free of charge and without referral, all under the vision that no one has to face cancer alone. This event is completely volunteer-run, so 100% of the funds raised go directly towards these programs.
With heartfelt sincerity, I humbly ask that you consider contributing to support Wellspring Alberta and I in reaching our fundraising goal. Your donation, no matter the amount, can significantly impact the lives of those affected by cancer. Thank you for your generosity and compassion.
