Cancervive was the brainchild of cancer survivor, and Wellspring Calgary founding Board member, Brian McGregor who wanted to support those living with, and past, a cancer diagnosis. In 2005 he led a group of cyclists from Calgary to Austin, Texas. Since then, Cancervive has grown and visited many different destinations, and now includes cancer survivors, warriors, riders, challenge riders, volunteers, sponsors, supporters, and you, people who together have raised over $2M in support of Wellspring programs for anyone living with cancer and for those who love and care for them. By supporting Cancervive and Wellspring Calgary, you are joining this amazing community who not only understand but take direct action to ensure that no one faces cancer alone.
Cancervive is a non-profit society that administers and directs the activities of all aspects of the Cancervive Cycle Tour. Cancervive is volunteer based, directing 100% of donated funds to local cancer survivorship programs at Wellspring centres.
