Hi everyone, I am participating in the Firefighter Stairclimb Challenge taking place this June in support of Wellspring Alberta. I am excited to take on the challenge and look forward to pushing myself to climb in support of people living with cancer. In particular I am climbing this year for my mom who has been battling with cancer, stay strong mom. 

I have been working in the emergency services field for about 5 years now, previously with the Brandon Fire Department in Manitoba and now with the Calgary Fire Department. This cause is especially important to me because of the impact this disease has had on all firefighters, as well as my own colleagues and family members.

Proceeds from the event will support Wellspring Alberta, an organization that provides free programs, services and support to individuals living with cancer – those diagnosed, caregivers and kids.
