We are back. I climbed for the first time in 2019. I took an unfortunate break from doing the virtual climb (still fundraised though!) but I am back and motivated as ever for this year! I am asking for everyone to support my climb and hopefully reach the goal of $1,000.00!
This is a great event, and an even greater cause! For anyone who doesn't know what the stairclimbing challenge is, it is simple, we get in our gear and climb 1204 steps up the bow tower in Calgary - traditionally.
This year, due to COVID, it'll be a bit different. We will still be climbing the 1204 steps, but we are doing this at our own location and submitting proof virtually. We do this in support of firefighters and citizens living with cancer.
This event also has a very personal side to me. As many of you may or may not know, my dad, a very passionate firefighter, passed away of cancer a when I was a child. He was and is an inspiration to me and I am very honoured to be taking his path as a firefighter. Like last year, I am doing this in his honour.
Please support me in my quest to raise money for this event. Please do share this post, and help me spread the word! If you would like to donate, simply follow the attached link. My personal target is set at $1000, but there is nothing wrong with surpassing it ;).
I do want to say Thank you very much for anyone supporting me in any way for this event! I truly appreciate it!!
