Keith Alessi Intro

How does a successful public company CEO, who hasn’t been on the stage since 1972, find himself doing a sold out Off Broadway run of a one man show only 18 months after conceiving the idea?

Wellspring is proud to present An Evening with Keith Alessi, writer and performer of the internationally toured and highly awarded one-man show ‘ Tomatoes Tried to Kill Me, But Banjos Saved My Life’, as he shares his journey from a cancer ward to the stage. It will be an entertaining evening of storytelling, and music, as he shares behind the scenes insights into the making of the show and adventures from his tour. Keith will open his heart about his journey and the unexpected discoveries and insights he made as he set out to fulfill a promise he made to himself after receiving a deadly diagnosis. It’s a testimony to the healing power of the arts as Keith’s story so closely aligns to Wellspring’s mission.

Keith Alessi is generously donating his time so all funds raised from this event will go to Wellspring Calgary and to support those living with cancer. We are so blessed!

Register for $25 for this private Zoom event. Registration is limited to 250 spots.

Bonus Offer: A minimum $100 donation will be matched and provides you access to an online version of Keith’s show ‘Tomatoes Tried to Kill Me, But Banjos Saved My Life’, recorded earlier this year at The Lunchbox Theatre in Calgary. You get both for less than the price of a ticket to the performance in New York City and you’ll be supporting a great cause! Unsure if you want to do both? No worries, you’ll have the opportunity to decide before or after An Evening with Keith Alessi.

How did tomatoes try to kill Keith Alessi? How did banjos save his life? Zoom in and get the scoop!

Registration has passed! Still want to see the show? Please call us at (587) 747-0260 ext 1017 before 6:30PM MDT.
